What sound does a giraffe make?

Giraffes are renowned for being mute but in fact they aren't. They have been known to utter low noises and even ocional "roaring" (for want of a better word). Fairly recently it was discovered that they communicate all the time in frequencies too low for humans to detect. They even have regional dialects.
