I don't think that you are obsessed with him. You just really like him. As for 'love' well it depends...it sounds more like puppy love as you are not in a relationship and are not knowing each other that well to consider it really as 'love'. If you feel that he has moved on then yes I think that you should too...don't worry there are a lot of boys out there...I gave up faith but this great guy just suddenly popped into my life. I didn't believe in it at first but now I'm like blown away...if you really like him you should talk to him, be direct, and tell him how you feel and see the outcome. Who knows, he might still be interested.
