What's an average price for skip hire? Every online company i look at wants me to 'register' 2 get a quote!?

I'm planning to clear my garden & garage of various junk - from rabbit hutch & run to old toys/bikes, plus garden weeds & ant-killed plants/shrubs! Does anyone know the rough cost, what size skip would be best & is it possible to just hire the one, for all of the rubbish to go in, or would i have to hire a separate one for garden rubbish?
