After ruptured ovarian cysts, ( large ) is swelling in legs OK?

I ruptured a large 5 by 7 inch ovarian cyst 4 days ago. Lost so much blood I had to have two blood transfusions. I'm home now, but experiencing swelling below the waist till it feels like my toes will pop after standing for only a few minutes. They did give me cipro for an infection, but I haven't taken it in two days. The bleeding was stabilized, all though I still have the blood I lost filling a lot of my mid section, and blood pressure and blood count are normal. The cysts is still there though, because my doc said surgery could lead to more problems in my condition, and it's just a slow leak. Do you think it's just my body dealing with the trauma ? My mom mentioned kidney failure, so I am concerned. thanks, trina.
