Need advice on insulation related to auto?

Honestly, take it to a muffler shop. I know, everyone says that on here....but, you wrap it and it'll either do nothing and sound loud, get quiet for maybe a week or two, or possibly burning or atleast giving off that hot smell all the time. Meanwhile you take it to a muffler shop....bing bang boom 15minutes later they will have re-welded any cracks or holes and you'll prob walk out the door 30$ or less. Which by the time you get done buying tape and wrap and everything else you might as well get it fixed right. Just my $.02. Good luck with what ever route you choose.
