My friend has a religious problem, Help?

Her mom doesn't have a religious problem, that is a social problem. Likely she may also have a drinking problem. I recommend family counseling. Also it may help if the girl doesn't quote bible verses for a while, that can be really annoying and not useful for helping her mom out.
