Friend pulled over without license or insurance.?

So anyways, my friend got pulled over without a license or insurance and he's really freaking out about it. I mean, he's a good kid and all: straight a's, extracurricular activities, etc. he just made a bad decision and got pulled over. the police didn't give him a ticket for driving without a license but one for speeding and failure to show proof of insurance. Since he didn't have insurance, he couldn't prove that he had any so yeah. he paid for the tickets and like a month later he got a letter saying that, because he drove without insurance, his "license" would be suspended until he paid to reinstate it. he didn't have a license to begin with... just a permit. he paid the money and got it reinstated. So now he's wondering if he's going to have a warrant out for him or if it's going to go down as a misdemeanor on his record or what. This is all in Oklahoma by btw. What is going to happen to him? he's a good friend of mine and good quality answers would help alot.
